Third album from the Cult Italian Kollective (formerly known simply as MALDOROR), a massive extreme metal electrocution that is impossible to label: an opus of overloaded post-metal eccentrically infected with harsh industrial beats, ritual Dark-Ambient tissues, hypnotic EBM bas- lines melted on Black Metal machinery made up of inhuman trance-like riffs and schizoid vocals. This is neither for last-time vamp posers, not for trendy clowns of the extreme, nor for "satanic" blustering freaks. Radical, innovative, and outstanding! The aesthetic was strongly influenced by names such as Kenneth Anger, William Burroughs, Brion Gysin, Phil Hine (Chaos Magick / Illuminates of Thanateros), and the social LaVeyan experience. The album is a concept work on the fundamental Liber Al vel Legis seen through the metaphor of CONTAGION: the disease, the viral effect and the impending of a new possible epidemic as the endemic reaction of our race in new aeon post-industrial social deflagration.
