Produced by Jonny Maudling (of Bal Sagoth fame) and recorded at Waylands Forge Studio's Sheffield this release shall quickly become known as a grim blight on the UK black metal scene. WRITTEN IN TORMENT was formed in 2002 by sole member Leviathan, writing commenced immediately with tracks being recorded in late 2005 and early 2006. All instruments were played by Leviathan except for a special guest guitar-solo by Mark Greenwell of Bal-Sagoth on the track 'LV-426'.
